Reporting a data error

Accuracy reports are the most valuable mail we receive. Our database tracks every specification back to a source document, so the fastest way to get a correction published is to include:

1. The page URL on SplitAtlas where you saw the value.
2. The specification in question (for example, "HSPF2 for the 12k model").
3. Your source — a link to or copy of the manufacturer document, AHRI certificate, or listing that shows a different value.

We verify against primary documents (manufacturer technical documentation and AHRI certificates outrank retailer listings — see our data sourcing policy), and every published fix is logged on our corrections page.

Other reasons to write

• Suggest a model or brand you want researched and added to the database.
• Embed support — trouble embedding one of our calculators on your site.
• Partnerships and press — affiliate programs, data licensing, or media questions.
• Privacy requests — anything covered under our privacy policy.

What to expect

This is a small, independent research operation. We typically respond within a few business days. Corrections that check out against primary sources are usually published faster than that.
