Mini-split cost by state
What a mini split actually costs, separated into the parts that behave differently: equipment, which you can shop; labour, which varies by market; electrical work, which depends on your panel; and permits, which depend on your jurisdiction.
State pages carry local electricity rates and climate framing, and where we have verified a state's labour rates and rebate programmes they carry those too. Where we have not verified them, the page says so rather than presenting a national average as a local answer — a cost page that is not actually local is worse than no cost page.
