Find the filter from the indoor-unit label
Mini-split filters are model-specific. Enter the indoor model number from the unit label, or enter a filter part number from an old filter, to see the manufacturer-published part number, quantity, cleaning schedule, replacement schedule, and models the part fits.
A washable primary screen often needs cleaning rather than a new purchase. Add-on deodorizing, anti-allergy, catechin, and photocatalytic filters may have their own cleaning and replacement schedules, so the tool keeps them separate.
How listings are separated
Genuine listings come first. Each is the exact manufacturer part, and the seller's own product page or the brand's store says it is factory original.
Aftermarket listings come next. A “Listed as” entry is sold under the exact manufacturer part number. A compatible replacement says it replaces that part and is not made by the equipment maker. “Listed as” entries appear before compatible replacements.
When no listing meets those rules, the result still gives the manufacturer part number and the care schedule, and says we have not found a listing to show.

- Are mini-split filters washable or replaceable?
- Both types exist. The finder separates reusable primary screens, washable add-on filters with a manufacturer replacement interval or condition, and disposable filters whose instructions say not to wash or reuse them. Follow the care shown for the exact model and filter row.
- Do I need to buy a new washable primary filter?
- Usually not on a schedule. When the manufacturer data identifies a washable reusable screen and publishes no replacement interval, clean and reinstall it at the listed cadence. A published part number is still shown when one exists.
- Why can one model show more than one primary filter?
- Some indoor units use a different primary screen by production mark or revision. When the manufacturer parts manual requires a nameplate distinction, the finder shows every applicable row and places that check before any listing.
- How are genuine and aftermarket listings labeled?
- Genuine listings come first; the seller's own page or the brand's store confirms they are factory original. Everything else sits under Aftermarket: either an entry sold under the exact part number, marked “Listed as”, or a compatible replacement that is not made by the equipment maker.
