Anti-Vibration Pads

A running compressor vibrates, and if that buzz transmits into a wall or a resonant surface you'll hear a low hum indoors - most noticeable when the outdoor unit is wall-mounted near a bedroom. Rubber isolation pads or feet between the condenser and its mount absorb that vibration for a few dollars. They're a comfort upgrade, not a fix for a wobbly or undersized mount - get the base right first.

Buying Checks

  • Match the pad or foot to your condenser's mounting-foot size and weight.
  • They cut transmitted hum - most worthwhile on wall mounts and near living space.
  • Isolation pads don't fix an unstable base; get a solid, level mount first, then add them.

Fit guidance

Spring vibration isolators

Spring isolators handle stubborn low-frequency hum on wall brackets or rooftops where rubber alone is not enough, but they are not a default homeowner add-on. They need the installed condenser weight, load per isolator, and target deflection.

Price
Installer-specified
Fit note
Use only when an installer sizes the spring load and deflection for the specific mount.
Why no link
No universal ASIN: spring isolators require load-per-isolator and deflection sizing.
