Applications open
TVA EnergyRight publishes the mini split rebate page with a current contractor, rebate-request, and redemption-code application flow and no closure stated.
Covers mini-splits
TVA EnergyRight explicitly says the rebate is for a ductless mini split heat pump and explains that a mini split has no ductwork.
$800 for a 17 SEER2 or higher ductless mini split heat pump.
- Equipment
- Ductless mini split heat pump with 17 SEER2 or higher in TVA and participating local power company service areas.
- Income
- None published for the TVA EnergyRight mini split rebate.
- Efficiency
- 17 SEER2 or higher; must meet TVA standards effective on the installation date.

Code Notes
- Tennessee mechanical permit fees are local. Nashville provides a municipal data point: its gas/mechanical permit fee schedule has a $75 minimum permit fee and an HVAC replacement or alteration line priced at $32 per 100,000 Btuh or fraction. Actual permit scope and fees are decided by the local authority having jurisdiction.
