Standard tiers are for eligible Mass Save sponsor customers; income-based enhanced rebates may apply separately.
Whole-home $2,650 per ton up to $8,500; partial-home $1,125 per ton up to $8,500; basic $250 per ton up to $2,500; income-based enhanced up to $16,000 or up to no cost through Turnkey Services.

Code Notes
- Massachusetts has statewide building code authority under 780 CMR, and OPSI publishes mini-split permit and construction supervisor license guidance for 1- and 2-family dwellings, but the local authority having jurisdiction makes the permit determination.
- Planning permit-cost range is about $70-$200+ for a simple ductless mechanical/electrical permit set; Cambridge supports the low end with a $40 ductless split mechanical permit and $30 ductless A/C electrical permit.
