Regional cost guide
Nevada mini-split cost guide
Much of Nevada is climate zone 3 (south) / 5 (north). Electricity here runs 13.60 cents per kilowatt-hour, so a typical 12,000 BTU system costs about $405 a year to run. We checked for rebates and found none currently offered here. Installed prices are mostly national — labor is the part that varies locally.

Code Notes
- Nevada heat-pump permits and fees are local. Clark County provides a municipal planning data point: Building Simple Online Permits require a Citizen Access Portal account, can be obtained without plan review, and include residential mechanical permits for one appliance per permit such as A/C furnace replacement under 5 tons. Actual ductless mechanical and electrical permit scope and fees are decided by the local authority having jurisdiction.
