Code Notes
- Albuquerque requires a plumbing/mechanical permit for heating or cooling and for equipment or ductwork installation; equipment and ductwork work must be completed by a licensed contractor. The City's Table 112-C lists a $23.50 administrative charge, $8 for repair, alteration, or addition to each heating or cooling unit, and $7 for an air-handling unit with attached ducts, subject to the schedule's classifications and other applicable permits. This is an Albuquerque planning data point, not a statewide New Mexico fee.
