PC 06 error code

What triggers it

Compressor discharge temperature exceeds the manual's threshold for 9 seconds; the compressor stops and the LED displays the fault code.

What to do

1. If compressor discharge temperature is more than 115C for R410a or 108C for R32, check whether refrigerant is leaking.
2. If refrigerant is leaking, stop the leak and add refrigerant.
3. Check whether the compressor discharge temperature sensor and PCB are connected according to the wiring diagram; correct the wiring if not.
4. Measure discharge temperature sensor resistance and replace the sensor if the value is abnormal.
5. Replace the outdoor main PCB; if the problem still exists, replace the high pressure valve assembly.

• MRCOOL DIY 5th Generation single-zone 9k, 12k, 18k, 24k, and 36k D25 indoor/outdoor models listed in manual section 1.1.
• For certain models the outdoor unit uses a combination sensor where T3, T4, and TP are the same sensor.
