B5 means the controls are not getting a believable reading from the liquid valve temperature sensor. The unit may stop because it cannot safely judge room, coil, valve, or discharge temperature from that input. Sensor circuits are technician work.
- Breadth evidence
- 12 published catalog models on its documented product line. Manual applicability notes: GREE LIVO R32 wall-mounted single-zone systems.; GREE VIREO R32, ENVO R32, and Sapphire R32 wall-mounted single-zone systems using the common GREE R32 high-wall diagnostic table.; GREE Free Match/Multi R32 and Free Match ECO/Multi ECO R32 systems when the connected indoor unit uses this common GREE indoor display table; GREE notes that multi-zone codes can differ by indoor unit type.
- Safe first check
- Turn the system off at the remote, then power cycle once at the breaker if you can do that safely. Expected result: a temporary control fault clears; if the same code returns, stop resetting and schedule service.
