The MRCOOL DIY Hyper Heat 12k is the cold-climate answer to the standard DIY line: it operates down to -22F and still publishes 11,000 BTU/h of heating at 5F, while installing the same DIY way - pre-charged Quick Connect line set with no vacuum pump or gauges.
